The potential functions of fungi are not yet fully understood in the medical community. ‘The Fungus Inhale Vaccination’ is a treatment designed to be inhaled. When a person inhales or digests the DNA vaccine incorporated and attenuated virus in the fungus, its antigen directly transfers to the lung through frequent use. Its shape, flavor, and colors are designed to encourage people to cultivate them at home, helping to break the negative associations with fungus. This encourages people to break the negative associations with fungus. In the future, the fungus could be used as a tool to advance medical research.

프로덕트 - 기술 디자인

곰팡이의 잠재적 기능은 의료 분야에서 아직 완전히 규명되지 않았다. 본 프로젝트는 ‘흡입’이라는 투여 방식을 가정해, 곰팡이 체내에 탑재된 DNA 백신 또는 약독화 바이러스의 항원이 반복적 사용을 통해 폐로 직접 전달되는 시나리오를 탐구한다. 곰팡이의 형태·향·색은 가정 내 재배를 유도하도록 설계되었으며, 이는 곰팡이에 대한 부정적 인식을 애착과 돌봄의 감각으로 전환하려는 시도다. 우리는 곰팡이를 오염의 상징이 아닌 ‘생활 속 면역 인프라’로 상상하며, 가까운 미래에 곰팡이가 의료의 진전을 촉진하는 도구가 될 수 있음을 제안한다. (본 프로젝트는 이강훈 박사와 협업으로 진행했으며, 과학적 실현 가능성을 토대로 사회·윤리적 질문을 제기하는 디자인 가상 시나리오이다.)

When a person inhales or digests the DNA- Vaccine incorporated and attenuated virus in the fungus, its antigen directly transfers to the lung through frequent use. Its shape, flavour and colours are designed to encourage people to grow them in the setting of the home. This encourages people to break the negative associations to fungus. In the future, the fungus will be used as a tool to further the development within the medical community.

오브제 디자인

진균의 잠재적 기능은 아직 의학계에서 완전히 이해되지 않았다. '진균 흡입 백신'은 흡입이 가능하도록 설계된 치료법이다. 사람이 DNA-백신을 포함하고 약화된 바이러스를 균에 흡입하거나 소화시킬 때, 그 항원은 빈번한 사용을 통해 폐로 직접 전달된다. 그것의 모양, 맛, 색깔은 사람들이 가정 환경에서 그것들을 재배하도록 장려하기 위해 설계되었다. 이것은 사람들이 곰팡이에 대한 부정적인 연관성을 깨도록 장려한다. 미래에, 그 곰팡이는 의학계의 발전을 위한 도구로 사용될 것이다.
